VSO is a leading international development charity. Work with us as an international volunteer, and you'll share your skills to help some of the poorest communities in the world build sustainable livelihoods.

Our agriculture volunteers work in the areas of agronomy, agricultural business advisors and agricultural marketing and advocacy. Roles are varied. You could be sharing your expertise and supporting in a number of areas, including enterprise and smallholder business development, lecturing and training, particularly in soil management and crop production, agriculture marketing and extension and financial planning, as well as passing on technical agricultural skills. Our agriculture programmes contribute to poor communities' rights to sustainable food security and reducing vulnerability to climate change.

VSO offers comprehensive financial, personal and professional support. We'll provide you with extensive training prior to your placement, and our financial package includes a living allowance, return flights and visas, accommodation and full medical insurance. When you return home, we'll help and support you to resettle, and many of our returned volunteers stay involved with us long after their placement ends.
