Africa Carbon Credit Exchange (ACCE) – Intern Analyst. (6 months starting immediately), Lusaka, Zambia Who we are looking for: We are seeking a qualified individual to play a crucial role in supporting ACCE’s operations and low carbon project implementation activities. The position will have the following responsibilities: · Assist in day to day operational activities of ACCE · Assist in the implementation the ACCE low carbon Africa project pipeline; projects include conservation agriculture, renewable energy, etc. · Writing and development of capacity building materials and Project Design Documents (CDM and voluntary markets).
· University Degree, Masters a plus · Knowledge of and experience working in Africa · Excellent communication skills - fluency in English, knowledge of French a plus · Project management experience, ability to drive implementation of low carbon projects · Knowledge of and experience working in the carbon markets a plus · Self-motivation, multi-tasking ability and attention to detail are a must. Remuneration includes monthly salary stipend, accommodation stipend and r/t flight to Zambia.
