Adult Learning Co-ordinator, RHS Garden Wisley, Surrey

Do you enjoy inspiring people in a beautiful garden? Can you share your enthusiasm for learning and horticulture? This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Learning and Events team at RHS Garden Wisley as the Adult Learning Coordinator.

This exciting role encompasses the organisation and delivery of a programme of horticulturally themed learning courses for adults, to further the charitable and educational aims of the Society and also supports the work of the wider team. The adult learning programme includes short courses, workshops and demonstrations, held on weekdays and at weekends.

You will need to be creative and extremely well organised, to assist with the development of new ideas and ensure that all events run smoothly. You will also have excellent communication and customer service skills, enabling you to deal with a wide range of event contributors, staff colleagues and members of the public. Previous knowledge of preparing and managing a budget and pricing events would be essential in order to deliver the programme to a financial return.
