Specific Minimum Qualifications and Expertise

  • Educated to GCSE or GCE ‘O’ level standard (or other overseas equivalent).
  • Good written skills.
  • Proven verbal communication and numerical skills.
  • IT literate in Microsoft Office, in particular with Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent word processing skills
  • Prior office work skills and recognition and knowledge of how office work administration should be produced and maintained.
  • A proven ability to work well in a team.
  • A proven ability to prioritise and organise in a dynamic environment.
  • A proven ability to analyse information for accuracy against required standards, and to highlight and implement process improvements.

Purpose

This role  will support the RHI Operations team on all issues related to administration of the RHI. This will include communicating with external current and potential participants of the RHI either by phone, email or mail to professionally respond to their enquiries.

Key Outputs and Deliverables

  • Process participant applications for accreditation under the RHI
  • Process participant output data for processing of payment
  • Administer the bespoke RHI and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system used to support the RHI
  • Provide advice about the RHI to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain the RHI record system
  • Working on ad-hoc projects and tasks as requested

RHI current and potential participants of all sizes and general public enquiries

Technical Directorate, Communications Division and Environmental Policy Directorate

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping
  • Maintaining courteous communications with the general public
  • Making recommendations on the accreditation of applications
  • Managing e-mail accounts, CRM software, as required
