Term: 12 Months
Applicants must meet the criteria determined under the Ontario Job Creation Partnerships, an employment program provided by Employment Ontario. To participate, you must be unemployed and meet one of the following conditions: have established a claim for Employment Insurance benefits or that the Employment Insurance benefit period ended within the past three years; or established a claim for Employment Insurance maternity or parental benefits and were paid benefits within the past five years, and are re-entering the labour force after having left it to care for newborn or newly adopted children. This includes being a current or recent recipient of Employment Insurance or Disability benefits
The successful candidate will provide all secretarial and administrative functions related to St. Catharines Climate Action Now. These include but are not limited to: managing the daily operation of the office by processing all incoming mail, email, fax and courier packages, processing all incoming calls from the public and interested parties and ensuring that the appropriate board/volunteer members receive messages, maintain all office equipment and supplies; maintain all records, reports and files in an organized and professional manner; develop and maintain a data base of all pertinent information and records.
