An Administrative Assistant in the Sea Turtle Conservation and Research Program (STCRP) provides support to biologist staff in coordinating 200+ volunteers, and interns to complete daily monitoring of 35 miles of beaches during turtle nesting season (~May 1 – Oct 31).  Year-round office duties include organization and upkeep of files, communication with volunteers and stake holders, volunteer scheduling, website upkeep and workshop and event coordination.  The Administrative Assistant co-supervises the STCRP intern program. The Administrative Assistant conducts fieldwork 2 – 3 times a week in the form of dawn beach nesting surveys. Ideal candidates for this position are conservation minded, comfortable working at a non-profit organization, and can achieve a balance of office and field work responsibilities.
