The Actions Coordinator is responsible for furthering Greenpeace Australia Pacific’s campaign objectives through the planning, coordination and execution of Non Violent Direct Actions (NVDA) and other campaign activities.

Main responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the logistical planning, preparation, coordination and implementation of direct actions, direct communications, environmental protests, investigations, tours, and ships-based actions in Australia and the Pacific
  • Develop and lead the implementation of direct action-related strategies central to campaign objectives, in conjunction with campaign teams
  • Undertake both office and field research and investigations for campaign projects
  • Lead the creation and development of new and innovative forms of direct action, direct communication, protest and intervention across departments within Greenpeace Australia Pacific
