Role Summary / Purpose:

This position offers vital support to the sales team and requires supporting profitable sales and business decisions by analyzing energy related data through the following: Customer Care, ISO Registration Engineering, Data Management, Event Management, Telephone Installs, NOC Interface Customer Payment, Monthly Settlement, Compliance, Direct Sales Support, Channel Sales Support.

Essential Responsibilities:
Your role in this position will be to effectively analyze energy related data in order to support profitable sales and business decisions while effectively communicating and coordinating with inside sales, as well as delivery support personnel.   In this role you will identify opportunities to up-sell products and services to grow the assigned accounts with a sense of urgency.   You must utilize effective written and oral communication skills to manage customer issues including problem resolution, inquiry fulfillment, and information gathering for proposal clarification.   You must express ideas and concepts with clear and concise written reports.  You will locate, analyze and draw conclusions using information from various sources regarding the customer, its business, and the competitive environment.   Additionally, you will effectively plan and organize time and work activities to optimize overall sales results.   Project management is an essential part of this role and your efforts will contribute to the successful growth of accounts through introduction of products and services in a consultative manner.   At times, high level decisions requiring appropriate risk vs. reward will be necessary to perform this job effectively.   This position requires a high level of concentration and the ability to adapt to change.   Additionally, the position requires detailed customer support and resolution of challenging customer issues.

Qualification / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Database Research Experience
  • Sales skills

Qualifications Desired:

  • Experience in technology, telecommunications or energy industry preferred
