The Account Manager is responsible for the Company’s day-to-day relationships with key Advertising Clients and Rewards Partners. Collaborating closely with the Director of Partnerships and other key executives the Account Manager will ensure that Clients and Partners achieve their goals in working with Recyclebank. He/she will seek to optimise redemptions in line with the Partners’ needs and create compelling marketing campaigns and materials for Partners and Clients. 

The ideal candidate will likely come from a digital media and/or ecommerce background, with some experience of campaign management, and have an interest in developing from an operational capacity to a more customer-facing role and then ultimately to front-line business development. 

Through a thorough understanding of the Client’s goals, flawless campaign execution, delivery, tracking, and reporting, the post-holder will demonstrate the value derived from the Client’s relationships with Recyclebank and drive incremental business. The successful candidate will exceed contractual obligations thereby establishing and maintaining strong Client relationships for further growth. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally and be expected to liaise across the UK business where appropriate. Whilst based in London, this role may involve travel.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Manage the Company’s day-to-day relationships with key Advertising Clients and Rewards Partners (e.g. supporting end-to-end technology integration, coordinating partner communications, reporting results, etc.).
  • Gather assets and assist Clients and Partners with copy for the on-boarding process.
  • Work with national Reward Partners to understand their commercial objectives, plan and execute profitable campaigns that deliver value.
  • Optimize advertising campaigns across the Recyclebank media real estate by utilising in-house and Open Ad-Stream (OAS) technology.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to schedule commercial email communications, PR releases, direct mail and outdoor opportunities that will drive acquisition and engagement for Recyclebank.
  • Identify how to drive new business from these existing Clients and Partners, by identifying cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally within the Company to be the Client’s representative within the business, understanding and communicating the impact of the relationship on all business areas including, marketing, communications, customer care, operations and kerbside account management.
  • Work very closely with colleagues in the New York office to share and understand learnings across the wider organisation, especially Account Management and Rewards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • 3-5 years of working in a digital media organization
  • Experience in a campaign management
  • Some experience in client facing roles
  • Experience working in a fast moving industry and company
