In 2010 the CDP is making available a range of new fee-based Reporter Services that will give responding companies more support and networking opportunities, improved access to the data and powerful analytical tools. This is an extension, not a replacement of CDP’s existing ‘free to disclose’ model.
CDP is seeking a motivated and confident self-starter to engage, recruit and account manage responding companies as part of this new initiative in the Disclosure Team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to implement, develop and shape a new area and very important area of CDP’s work and to have a direct impact on how the largest companies in the world approach and manage their climate change strategies.
The successful candidate will have the ability to account manage a diverse range of clients while delivering a first class service. Attention to detail is fundamental in this role, as is the ability to identify opportunities and to react to the feedback from your accounts. You will need to be confident enough to take the initiative to see what needs to be done and to deliver it. Much of the work will involve building and maintaining relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders from all levels of seniority.
This is a key role within a team that is set on expanding in the years ahead.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high level of self motivation and drive
- Proven success in terms of recruitment and account management experience
- Knowledge of the issues around climate change and carbon management at a corporate level, with educational qualifications in this area an advantage.
- The desire to take ownership and responsibility for particular areas of work
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
- Project management experience
- Ability to deliver excellent results under pressure.
- Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SAP Business Objects software are an advantage.
- Foreign language skills are an advantage
