The Accokeek Foundation Community Farm, LLC (AFCF), an operating division of the Accokeek Foundation, seeks a qualified Managing Director to lead the start-up phase of a new community farm initiative. The purpose of the AFCF is to instruct and provide land-based training to individuals on agriculture and farming, the principles and practices of sustainability, and innovative and regenerative farming techniques, with a particular focus on combating community deterioration through job training for disadvantaged farmers and job creation in the agriculture sector.  The Managing Director should be a dynamic individual with business experience in agriculturally-related industries and a successful track record in fundraising.  Experience in managing a successful incubator program in a rural community is a plus.
