Description

The UK is party to the Agreement on the Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels (ACAP); this post will help fulfil obligations to this agreement and to support wider nature conservation and sustainable resource management activities in UK Overseas Territories, including networking within the South Atlantic region.

You will be co-ordinating the provision of conservation advice on albatrosses and petrels plus co-ordinating between UK central government departments and relevant parts of administrations in the Overseas Territories on ACAP and other conservation issues. Part of the activities of this post will be to support these further activities in the South Atlantic Overseas Territories and the wider region.
