A leading international Abalone producer is looking to fill the position of an Abalone Biologist for the area of St Helena Bay. Requirements: · A relevant tertiary degree in Marine Biology or ichthyology · Previous experience working within the Hatchery section- hands on experience is a must!· Previous Management experience· A valid drivers licence· Computer literacy in the Microsoft Packages· Strong administrative skills· Good problem solving skills Roles:· Manage the Hatchery section· Manage all areas such as spawning, rearing, spat production, larvae rearing and diatom culture· Record and type up progress reports· Report back to the supervisors and owners · Execute all administrative tasks If you feel that you fit the above requirements mentioned then please forward your CV with a cover letter to candicew@caenviro.co.za Please note that should you not be notified within 14 days your application has been unsuccessful Foreign candidates who wish to apply must be in possession of a valid work permit and should submit a copy of it along with their CV.
