Wildlife Assistant – Full time 16 week placements – x3 positions

Location: RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre and Cattery, London Road, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 7JW

Salary: £13,362 - £13, 971 + 6% shift allowance

Hours: 35 hours per week (4 on, 2 off rota or fixed days / week)

The role:

The aim of the centre is to treat and rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned British wildlife for return to the wild.

The three full time, 16 week summer placements will either work a 4 on, 2 off shift or five days / week rota. On either early shift (0800hrs to 1600hrs) or a late shift (1300hrs to 2100hrs) which will include weekends, public and bank holidays.

You will need:

• Animal care qualifications such as NVQ, Diploma, a degree in a relevant related subject.
• Experience of working in the wildlife rehabilitation field.
• A keen interest in wildlife and willingness to learn.
• To be generally fit as some of the work can be physically very demanding.
• To be flexible and willing to work shifts.
