FSC is an educational charity that delivers its mission of ‘Bringing Environmental Understanding to All’ via its network of Field Centres throughout the United Kingdom. We currently have two Tutor vacancies at our residential Centre at FSC Margam Discovery Centre, Port Talbot.
Post 1: Tutor
This is a permanent post
Post 2: Tutor (Sabbatical Cover)
This is a fixed term post until the end of May 2014
In the important and challenging role of an FSC Tutor you will develop, plan and deliver GCSE and A-level courses, along with environmental courses for younger students. You will be expected to play a major role in the working and organisation of the education team. Therefore previous experience is essential, as is knowledge of the National Curriculum and a degree in geography or closely allied discipline. Training will be given to help you develop your competence. You’ll also be confident in working both in a team and independently and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
FSC Salary Grade for both posts: Scale Points 10-13, currently £17,335 - £19,781 p.a.
If resident at the Centre, there will be a deduction for accommodation.
