1st Mate on S|V VAZA VEZO

S/V Vaza Vezo is looking for a marine biologist with sailing and diving experience for the position of 1st mate on board a 45ft charter catamaran in San Blas ,Panama.

Job Description for 1st mate S|V Vaza Vezo:

All aspects of charter boat operation.

Working alongside the captain to ensure 100% customer satisfactiion and smooth running of this luxury charter catamaran including among other things, cooking, cleaning, rope handling and maintenance.

Educating customers in marine biology

Experience working with local fisherman communities and integrating volunteers in daily activities.

Designing and implementing education projects

Sucessful experience in program/project design and managenment as well as fundraising in the field of marine conservation.

Knowledge of fish and coral species of the caribbean is a must ai is ability to speak both english and spanish

Sailing and diving exeperince would be benifitial.

Note this would be a challenging and demanding, yet potentially very interesting and rewarding position due to the unique working environmet and potential to develop specific projects from start to end.
