Requirements:
THETA Nature Site Guide (Dangerous Game Area) TGD/NSGDGm/4/0037 NGF level 2 certificate (must include View Potentially Dangerous Game Unit Standars)
Valid First Aid Certificate Level 2
DoT Registration (Site Guide: KNP & surrounding areas
Valid EC Driver License (Code 10)
Valid Professional Driving Permit
SASSETA Unit Standards 123519, 119651 & 117705 Certification.
Firearm Competency Card/certificate as issued by the SAPS OR Proof of application.
Valid KNP Intermidiate Proficiency
1 year cosnervation/guided activties related experience.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate's duties will include the following:
To conduct Intermediate guided activities (Game drives and Walks as backup) providing an in-depth interpretive experience
Complete administration for the guiding activities
Market guided activities with the intention for improving the camps revenue and unit occupancy
Manage information desk and plan daily guided activities in the camp
Present environmental interpretation to create awareness and a sustainable environmental culture
