A unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience working in marine and terrestrial environmental education. Working at the Trust's core education sites you will gain skills in running school visits, public events (e.g. rockpool rambles, beach cleans, pond dipping) and running a busy marine visitor centre. There will also be the opportunity to gain skills in marine/terrestrial survey techniques (e.g. cetacean monitoring and woodland flora). During the placement will you have the opportunity to gain an NVQ Level 2 in Environmental Conservation supervised by BTCV. Funding for training courses may be available and money paid towards travel costs. There may also be free basic accommodation available. You will be based at one site but may work at others - work includes weekends. Own transport is essential.
