Senior Structural Design Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Structural Design Engineer

Job Purpose

To make decisions on project nature and requirement, propose structure design and provide design process

 Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Able to make decisions and recommendations based on projects nature and requirement
• Propose different structural design solutions and do value engineering to choose the most effective structure design in terms of safety, constructability, achieve the project targets and economy.
• Coordinate with other engineers in different discipline in order to achieve the projects requirements without discrepancies
• Guide Junior Engineers & CAD operators in the team to meet the project requirement and submission dead line
• Able to design the projects assigned in accordance with International Codes i.e. B.S., ACI etc. And local codes and specification requirement
• Provide successful design processes from concept stage till tender stage
• Able to design effectively using latest structural software’s like ETABS, SAFE, SAP, STAAP,ADAPT and having extensive knowledge about REVIT & AUTOCAD
• Make site visits when necessary during the project design & construction and report to the Head of the Department about the findings
• Able to design effectively complicated structure and high rise buildings
• Able to provide the scheme design when necessary in AUTOCAD or REVIT format

Experience / Qualification

•              Masters/Bachelor degree in Structural Engineering

•              12-15 years of relevant experience
