Due to our success in the marketplace and stellar reputation in the industry, we are currently seeking a Field Marketing Coordinator to oversee up to three crews of 6 to 8 Solar Advocates. The Field Marketing Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, coaching and managing Solar Advocates, including entering leads into our CRM software. This is a great opportunity for a smart go-getter to break into the solar industry.

Job Title: Field Marketing Coordinator
Reports to: Field Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee up to 3 crews of 6-8 Solar Advocates each; including 3 lead positions for each team
  • Responsible for 75 site visits per week at full quota
  • Personal quota of 4 site visits per week
  • Manage, recruit, hire, train and coach 20-24 Solar Advocates
  • Daily coaching and monitoring of Solar Advocates in the field
  • Select neighborhoods for Solar Advocates to canvass and track results
  • Timely entry of quality leads and appointments into Salesforce.com software
  • Track hours worked for each representative and submit to payroll
  • Responsible for daily reporting of lead results and for teams' weekly lead quota
  • Manage and track commissions of Solar Advocates
  • Provide all marketing materials and paperwork to Solar Advocates
  • Communicate daily with Field Marketing Manager
  • Staff local area events (i.e. local fairs, community events)

  • Willing to work the following hours: 2pm to 8:30pm M-F and 9am to 3pm Sat. (40 hours per week)
  • Manage knocking hours for Solar Advocates from: M-F 4pm-8pm and Sat 10am-3pm
  • Resourceful at meeting challenges
  • Exhibits sound and accurate judgment
  • Uses time efficiently

Essential Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.

  • Field marketing experience with two years of door-to-door experience preferred
  • Sales experience; sales leadership experience welcome
  • Likes managing and working with people
  • Valid driving license, insurable by good driving record and have your own reliable transportation
  • Communicates effectively, both written and verbal in English
  • Good decision-making ability
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.com
  • Robust organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • BA degree appreciated but not mandatory

Compensation:

  • Weekly salary plus commission payable per site visit (personal and team)
  • Long-term temporary position (approx. 4 months) may become full-time position
