The distribution pattern, habitat use and movement of breeding waterbirds with respect to Black-necked cranes and Bar-headed geese using telemetry in Changthang Cold Desert Sanctuary.

Duration: One year (likely to be extended).
Essential Qualification
Masters Degree in Life Sciences/Wildlife Science/Zoology with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification
Minimum one year research experience on ecological study on watebirds. Experience of capturing ringing/tagging waterbirds.
Description of Work
Conduct ecological study on breeding waterbirds especially black-necked cranes and bar-headed geese in Ladakh.
