Young People Friendly Neighbourhoods (YPFN) is a two year grant aided project funded by the Department for Education. YPFN aims to support young people and communities in some of the country’s most disadvantaged areas through early intervention and intensive personalised support. The project will provide specialist support to help local partnerships develop robust plans for future financial sustainability, in particular through the application of mutual structures and by enabling local residents to volunteer as youth leaders. The successful applicant will be assist with the development, planning, delivery and monitoring of the Young People Friendly Neighbourhoods project. This will involve the delivery of youth provision, co-ordinating staff/volunteers and providing community support in the Blackpool area. This position requires the successful applicant to be subject to an enhanced CRB check.
