Salary: $72,000- $76,000, Full time

The Wilderness Society Victoria seeks a Campaigns Manager to provide strategic oversight for successful nature conservation campaigns being undertaken by a team of staff and volunteers.

If you are committed to protecting Victoria's forests and other important natural areas, to tackling climate change and contributing to landscape conservation initiatives, this could be the job for you.

We seek someone with proven leadership qualities, a commitment to fostering teamwork and a collaborative workspace and, together with the Business Manager, the ability to maintain oversight of the campaign centre's financial viability.

You will understand Australian conservation issues well, particularly those in Victoria. You must have demonstrated experience relevant to the development and implementation of effective and strategic campaigns to protect Victoria's wild places and will have well-developed networking, advocacy and negotiation skills.

You will have campaign management expertise, strategic planning experience, demonstrated consultative leadership and people management skills and above all, a commitment to the Wilderness Society values and purpose.

You will report to the Campaigns Centre's Committee of Management (CoM) and be accountable to the organisation's National Campaign Committee.
