The Wilderness Society is a movement of people dedicated to protecting Australia's unique nature and wildlife. We are an independent, grassroots organisation with over 40 years of success in advocating for the protection of nature. We rely on ongoing donations from our members to continue our vital work and our fundraising teams have inspired tens of thousands of members around the country who align with our vision of an Australian society that respects and protects the nature that sustains us.

• As part of a team you will engage with people at a variety of carefully selected venues throughout the greater Melbourne area, including parks, shopping centres, markets and festivals.
• You will discuss the most urgent issues of our time and inspire people to join the movement by committing vital ongoing funding and support.
• Our unique in-house approach to fundraising ensures you are working alongside like-minded individuals who share your passion to protect nature.

About You

A confident communicator, you are someone who is passionate about nature and enthusiastic about changing it for the better. You are emotionally mature and you understand the challenges that we face and the need for urgent, collective action.

Fundraising experience is beneficial but anyone interested in committing to a challenging and rewarding role is welcome to apply.
