Hampstead Heath one of London's most popular open spaces is embarking upon a major flood & water management project over the next 2-3 years to carry out extensive works on the ponds and dams.
The scheme is high-profile and offers the right candidate a once-in-a-generation chance to work at the heart of a fascinating and important project.
You will act as a conduit between the City of London Corporation (which owns and manages the Heath) and the local community so that information is properly shared and effective consultation takes place.
You will be expert in all aspects of the design and facilitation of public consultation and have experience working with the media, together with strong project planning, interpersonal and IT skills. Working for the City of London Corporation's award-winning Open Spaces Department, you will possess excellent influencing and leadership skills, be well organised, flexible and possess a can-do attitude, to meet deadlines and deliver to a high standard.
Experience in the public sector or key service position and a degree either in marketing, media, communications or environmental studies is required.
