Water Vole Keeper (maternity cover)

Function:                      Husbandry of Wildwood’s water voles

Responsible to:            Conservation Officer

Salary Keeper:             £11,364 to £13,174 (+ 9% pension & other benefits after 12 months)

This role will suit a fit, practical person who can work outdoors during all weathers doing a physically demanding job.  You need to be able to work independently as well as part of the Keeper & Conservation team.

Specifically:

• Husbandry of water voles in our conservation centre
• Captive breeding of water voles
• Preparation of water voles for reintroduction
• Trapping, monitoring and release of water voles

The closing date is 11^th May 2012
