This position will bring substantive hands-on experience in operations management, team leadership, project management and change management at an executive level. Reporting to the President, the VPPO will be the lead in formulating, implementing, monitoring and assuring delivery of the annual results for AWF’s program operations throughout the continent. The post should assure AWF’s record of performance for on-time and on-budget delivery of grant funded projects. The VPPO is a new post intended to free AWF’s President from day-to-day operational issues and to enable a focus on the strategic growth of the organization. While prior experience in conservation or development work may be helpful, it is not a requirement for this post.
