Vet Intern / Dog & Cat Rescue (may do one of the two, or both)

Green Life Volunteers is recruiting both a Veterinary Intern as well as a Dog and Cat Rescue Volunteer in Costa Rica. This volunteer can do either or both of these opportunities. The Veterinary Internship does not require experience, but you must be an animal lover and able to speak spanish at a basic level. The vet is happy to train you so that you can even take care of some patients or assist the doctor with procedures and surgeries. The project would be great for a vet student, or someone interested in becoming a vet student – since you may be able to use your volunteer time in your studies as work experience time.

A Dog and Cat Rescue Volunteer’s tasks would be to help feeding, walking, and bathing dogs / cats, spread the word of the new program in form of brochures/posters/ and flyers (which would also be ideally be designed by the volunteer), and by fundraising and talking to people to raise awareness about the program.
