The Joint Global Change Research Institute (JGCRI) has an internship opportunity for a student to work with our economics and climate change modeling and analysis team on topics such as energy technology, agriculture and biomass energy, and global carbon-cycle dynamics. Science and economic internships involve reviewing literature, analyzing data, and constructing data sets for use in our computer models of the global energy, economic, and climate systems. Internships for computer science majors will involve object-oriented design and implementation in C++ and/or Java. This opportunity requires research skills, writing skills, and good personal interaction skills.
Paid internship will continue through summer (contingent on performance). Located at 8400 Baltimore Ave, College Park, MD just north of the main entrance to campus.
