Description

Would you like to spend a few weeks in Costa Rica, meet lots of like-minded people from all over the world, live on a beautiful beach, and at the same time help rescue endangered sea turtles ? Then the Turtle Conservation Project is the right thing for you.The Sea Turtle projects are established by the Costa Rican Ministry of the Environment, and are usually busy year-around. They have anywhere between 10- 40 volunteers at a time (depending on the season), and you’ll never do your work alone. You’ll sleep in a dormitory and get your meals cooked for you. You’ll be patrolling the beaches at night, helping out in the hatchery, releasing sea turtle babies into the ocean (depending on the season), and learn lots about sea turtle conservation. These projects are extremely popular - and an experience of a lifetime!
