Groundwork is a charity creating better neighbourhoods, building skills and job prospects and helping people live and work in a greener way.  Every year Groundwork Solent breathes new life into local communities.  Our team of community, youth & education workers, training supervisors and landscape architects deliver improvements to playgrounds, housing estates, parks and open spaces by working and investing in local neighbourhoods and by providing training opportunities for those facing disadvantage.

We wish to appoint new Trustee Directors to help shape and guide our work as we expand our operations across the south coast and into Hampshire andWest Sussex.  Applications are particularly invited from people with skills in;

• Finance
• Sales
• Social enterprise
• Employment training or education
• Grounds maintenance 

Above all we want people who share our passion, energy and commitment to making local neighbourhoods great places to live and work and want to help those who are disadvantaged in raising and fulfilling their aspirations.

You will be expected to attend 6-8 board meetings each year as well as support project launches where possible.  Outside of meetings you will help champion Groundwork and be given a great opportunity to engage personally in making places more sustainable.

Trustee Directors are unremunerated but we can meet expenses.
