The Carbon Trust has developed a strong track record in wave and tidal energy through initiatives such as the Marine Energy Challenge, Marine Energy Accelerator and the Marine Renewables Proving Fund (MRPF).

The Technology Acceleration Manager role will be centred around accelerating the deployment of first arrays through targeted innovation activity, and capital support for the best projects in today's industry. As the Technology Acceleration Manager you will take ownership for the delivery of major project in this area, as well as help out across other areas of marine renewables, including opportunities to work in the recently announced Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult.

The main responsibilities for the Technology Acceleration Manager will include: managing the day to day activities of the innovation programme; ensuring accurate monthly/annual forecasting and financial tracking across projects; managing the assessment processes to select the best technologies to work with.

To be considered for this role you will be degree educated in either a science or engineering subject. You will have strong project management skills with significant experience in the renewables industry, with wave and tidal energy experience a distinct advantage.
