Degree in engineering or appropriate discipline; At least 10 years of professional experience in matters relating to international and European industrial technical standards and Technical Barriers to Trade (i.e. experience in a European standardisation agency, technical laboratory, standardisation, proficiency testing, conformity assessments, etc.); At least 5 years of professional experience in related aspects of development cooperation projects; At least 5 years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation of economic development cooperation projects. Experience in similar EC-funded projects would be an asset; Fluent in English; Adequate and proven writing and reporting skills. Expertise within the Asean and/or Filipino trade, economic and regulatory environment are particularly welcome All meetings, reports and communication will be in English
