Rate: Up to £65,000 DOE

Job Summary:

Mattinson Partnership is supporting one of the world’s leading engineering and design consultancies with their search for a Landscape and Visual impact specialist to lead their Landscape and Visual service offering throughout England and Wales.  This is an exciting time to join our Client in a period of significant growth across the UK business.

The successful candidate will direct the existing Landscape and Visual team and work to sustain its future growth.  You will have the opportunity to develop the existing service offering and build on our client’s current reputation within the market place.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

The service offering of the current Landscape and Visual team includes environmental impact assessments, appraisals, feasibility studies, conceptual design, planting scheme design, implementation inspections etc.

The Team Leader’s responsibilities will include;

• Business Development initiatives, including building client relationships, provision of input to tender and engagement with multidisciplinary colleagues across the business to maximise internal business opportunities.
• Provision of technical input and successful delivery of projects, on time and to budget.
• Team and resource management including provision of support to ensure successful development of all team members.

Qualifications / Experience:

The successful Leader of the Landscape and Visual team will have;

• Membership of the Landscape Institute
• Extensive consultancy experience with a project portfolio covering a range of sectors.
• A successful track record of delivering project solutions using a client focused approach.
• Good commercial acumen with proven experience of generating new business through bidding and engagement of new clients.
• Proven success with staff management and team development
• Some experience as an Expert Witness is desirable.
