This is a great opportunity to join a professional fundraising team in a dynamic and growing International development charity. Our goal is to reduce poverty and protect the environment in the dry lands of Africa.
We’re looking for a fundraiser or direct marketer who is passionate about raising money for TREE AID. Your role will be to develop successful donor recruitment or donor retention campaigns to grow individual donors and income.
Key objectives:
Maximise and grow unrestricted income from individuals.
Planning, implementation and day-to-day management of donor recruitment or retention fundraising activities.
Produce data and analysis to support fundraising.
We’re recruiting for two Supporter Marketing Officers (same Job Description for both roles) ? main differences are areas of responsibility.
Donor Recruitment Officer - responsible for donor recruitment fundraising programme, including;
Managing all direct marketing donor recruitment activities (face-to-face, direct mail, print, inserts, telephone, online, email)
Developing a successful welcome/donor communications programme
Managing community fundraising and events programme
Donor Retention Officer - responsible for donor retention fundraising programme, including;
Managing all direct marketing donor retention activities (direct mail appeals, newsletters, telephone, reactivation/upgrade, email, online)
Developing a successful donor communications programme
Managing and administering legacy income and marketing activities
Who we’re looking for:
Someone with direct marketing experience, gained either in a fundraising/marketing team at a charity, or alternatively through an agency or commercial organisation.
You will be confident planning, project managing and evaluating multiple fundraising campaigns across a range of direct marketing channels.
You’ll be able to successfully juggle deadlines and priorities to get the best results.
You will have excellent communication skills, and have experience producing strong and engaging fundraising/marketing materials.
With an analytical approach, you’ll be good with data and numbers, and have experience using fundraising or customer relationship databases.
