Description

Join us and become our new Student Worker in the department Technology Development focusing on the development of new technologies for offshore wind power plants. On average, you will be working around 15 hours per week.

As our new Student Worker, you will have the opportunity to gain experience with project-based technology development as we prepare and execute advanced technology projects through all phases of the technical process.

The department is part of Wind Power, a large and rapidly growing business unit with 1200 employees. You will be joining one of the leading energy companies in Europe with more than 30 years of experience in wind power. We are the market leader within offshore wind farms and have an ambitious strategy of further international growth for the coming years.

You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Gentofte or in Skærbæk near Fredericia.

Areas of responsibility

You will provide administrative support to a dynamic team of project managers working with a wide range of projects. In relation to that, you will assist with the preparation of documents, presentations and tables.

At first, your daily tasks will include solving organisational tasks. However, as you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to perform various assignments related to large projects.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

  • file new and old documents in our electronic document management system
  • arrange meetings and send meeting requests via Outlook
  • book venues for meetings and workshops
  • ensure knowledge sharing in our projects via internal network and other means
  • assist with uploading material from projects to our document management system.

Additionally, you will take minutes of meetings, prepare, coordinate and print documents as well as agendas prior to meetings and follow up on issues after meetings, as required.

Your profile
You will be an ambitious student with a minimum of two years remaining of your Master's level education.

Preferably you will be studying a technical discipline and be seeking a highly relevant part-time job to prepare for your future career. Alternatively, you may be a student in an economics-related area or within communication with a flair for and an interest in the technical aspects within wind power. In either case, you can present good results from your education.

As we prepare most of our written material in English and communicate extensively in English, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. If you have knowledge of German, it will be an advantage as well.

Furthermore, you must be an experienced user of the Microsoft Office programs.

You will have a flexible mind-set with respect to your tasks and be prepared to work intensely during busy periods. In return, you can expect a flexible approach to your working time when you need to prepare your master thesis or other study-relevant tasks.

We offer
A challenging job in an international energy company. As part of a dynamic team with an informal atmosphere, you will have the opportunity to work with competent colleagues.

You will be member of a department with a strong professional environment. In addition, you will have unique opportunities to spar with experienced and competent colleagues, eg when you prepare your master thesis or other tasks related to your study.

Through your work, you will participate in the implementation and development of sustainable and CO2-free energy solutions.

You will receive a competitive salary and enjoy a friendly and attractive working environment.
