Join us and become our new Student Assistant for approximately 15 to 20 working hours per week in Strategy and Market Intelligence, a recently established staff function.
As our Student Assistant, you will have a unique opportunity to get to know the organisation, the business and the wind industry from inside the market leading company within offshore wind. Strategy and Market Intelligence is responsible for the development of business and corporate strategies for Renewables and for facilitating collection, analyses and distribution in the organisation of relevant market intelligence to support decision-making. The staff function serves as a link between strategy and execution, and we render it possible to overview, analyse, prioritise and optimise our company's long-term project portfolio within renewable power generation.
You will be joining a function, which is part of Renewables, a large and rapidly growing business unit with 950 employees. We have more than 30 years of experience within the core business of developing, constructing and operating onshore and offshore wind farms in Denmark and abroad.
You will be based at our office in Gentofte.
Areas of responsibility
Your primary areas of responsibility will be within market intelligence and your key duties will be to:
- maintain, develop and quality assure our market databases
- perform data mining for and participate in market, competitor and other analyses
- establish and maintain systematic overview of main data sources used in the company
- prepare various presentations.
Your profile
As a minimum, you will be a third-year student at a relevant higher educational degree, eg a BA, an MA or an MSc Degree. or you may be aiming at an education corresponding to the Danish educations cand.merc. (IT), cand.polyt. or similar.
It is essential that you have thorough experience with especially Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Additionally, you will have experience with analysis of large amounts of data using pivot tables.
Either from a previous job or your study, you will be able to draw on experience with Microsoft Access or another database software and the development of relational databases, including design of data model definition, design of user interface, development of reports and export of data.
It is important that you have good communication skills; and as a minimum, you will speak and write Danish and English fluently.
