Description

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for work experience in the environmental & sustainability space. We comprise a small but highly motivated team and are passionate about what we do and the superb projects that we support.

Carbon Leapfrog is supporting a number of organisations who have been affected by State Aid regulation, and who are unable to claim either Feed-In-Tariff or the Renewable Heat Incentives due to the receipt of grants which are classified as State Aid.

We need to understand the scale of the issue at hand and be able to identify which grants are implicated, the number of community groups affected and amount of subsidies received by these groups.

This role is critical to the organisation and will provide the right candidate with valuable insight into the industry.

Key responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Reporting to the Head of Projects
  • Research publicly available information from various sources
  • Translate complex legal terms and clauses into layman’s terms
  • Deliver a report on scale of State Aid effects on community energy groups
  • Draft supporting guide notes and documentation
