Description

The New Climate Economy, the flagship project of the Global Commission on the Economy and Climate, is offering up to 3 part-time or full-time Stakeholder Engagement and Administrative Internships from October to December 2015.

This is an exciting opportunity to expand your work experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, providing administrative support to its Stakeholder Engagement team in a range of outreach activities in the lead-up to the important United Nations climate change conference in Paris in December (COP21).

The Team

The Stakeholder Engagement team works with the Global Commission members, partner institutes, governments, international organisations, businesses and other relevant stakeholders, to disseminate the major outputs and key messages of the project. The team arranges and supports the participation of Commissioners and NCE representatives at high-level events and international bilaterals.

The Role / Intern(s)

The interns will be an active part of the team and will provide critical support to the work of the Commission in the lead-up to COP21. They will gain a range of administrative experience, as well as exposure to important international networks and processes.

The internship is ideal for a candidate with a degree (or who is in the process of studying towards one) and has limited work experience, but is proficient at using Office systems such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT and contact databases, and is therefore seeking to expand their skills in an office environment.
