The Scottish Highlands provide an exciting start to the moth season. Nationally scarce species such as the spectacular Rannoch Sprawler, the delightful Rannoch Brindled Beauty and Sword-Grass can only be seen at this time of year and are restricted to this area. Electric observation lights will be operated in the grounds of Kindrogan which regularly attracts around 16 species including many stunning forms of Clouded Drab and Hebrew Character. Illustrated talks along with help and advice on identification and recording will help develop your skills.
