The Born Free Foundation, the internationally renowned animal welfare and wildlife conservation organisation, is seeking to recruit a Social/Digital Media Co-ordinator based at our Head Office in Horsham, West Sussex. Reporting to the Marketing Director and working as part of a busy and dynamic team, this is a full time role and an exciting opportunity to work in one of the fastest growing international wildlife charities, with a recognised and high profile media presence. The Born Free Foundation is dedicated to stop animal suffering and to conserve animals in the wild; it has a wide portfolio of projects dealing with some of the worlds most endangered species. We are looking for a successful and motivated individual who has relevant experience. A degree in Marketing would be an advantage although a proven track record in web, social and digital media is essential. Empathy for animal welfare and conservation is desirable as well as previous charity experience although not imperative. Excellent writing and communication skills are important. The successful candidate will be a good and enthusiastic team player with well-developed people skills, with the ability to prioritise and organise whilst working under pressure and to deadlines.
