Rate: £30,000+ DOE

Job Summary:

We are working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to appoint a Senior Modeller / Hydrologist into their Flood Risk and Water Management team in Sussex or Sheffield.  You will play a key role in the delivery of projects whilst also providing mentorship for junior team members.

Qualifications / Experience:

The Senior Modeller / Hydrologist will have extensive experience in the hydraulic modelling of rivers, sewer systems or coastal processes.  Candidates will also have;

• Relevant degree. Postgraduate qualification desirable.
• Chartered membership of a recognised professional body
• Experience of using TuFlow, ISIS or InfoWorks ICM hydraulic modelling software packages and relevant supporting software packages (SMS, MapInfo, ArcGIS and / or QGIS)
• Experience of working with developers, Local Authorities or the Environment Agency
• Good knowledge of the latest Flood Estimation Handbook hydrological analysis methods, including the Statistical Analysis method, ReFH and with use of the FEH CD-ROM V3 and WinFAP V3
• Experience in the use of ReFH software and have some experience of Probability Distributed Models (PDMs)
• Proven experience of forming relationships with Clients and working collaboratively with colleagues across other UK teams
• Proven track record of successful project management
• Experience of Bid preparation and business development activities
• Full driving licence.
