Bush Heritage, a leading Australian conservation organisation, currently has an exceptional opportunity for a qualified and experienced Senior Manager – Finance to join our Melbourne head office. The Senior Manager – Finance reports to the Chief Executive and is responsible for the financial management of the organisation. You will be responsible for the successful financial management of the organisation and adapt processes to meet the needs of a continually evolving environment. The role includes coordination of budget and financial management processes, cash-flow management and investment management. You will be CPA or CA qualified with a minimum of 12 years post-qualification experience acquired within a complex company environment, ideally a non-profit with multiple funding sources. Strong technical ability in financial management and strong project management skills are essential. Your strategic insight and analysis, and knowledge of non-profit accounting including fund and grant accounting, compliance and reporting, will ensure your success in the role. You will be responsible for managing three direct reports and fully utilising the finance system – MS Dynamics GP10.0. Your resilience, positive track record and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are paramount. Experience in the non-profit sector is desirable. MBA would be regarded favourably.
