DONG Energy is the market leader for offshore wind. We are experienced in wind for now 30 years and we plan, build and run offshore wind parks for 20 years. These are mainly in Denmark and Great Britain but we will start our construction activity in Germany as of 2013.
For our headquarter in Hamburg, located in an attractive part of the city, we are looking for a
Senior Lead Offshore Site Manager (m/f)
Areas of responsibility
- Manage the planning and coordination of offshore installation activities, including the interfaces across and between maintenance groups and contractors
- Plan and coordinate interfaces in connection with logistics, installation, commissioning and DONG Energy's supervision activities
Prepare aResource Allocation Plan in relation to offshore installation activities and request the neededresources, equipment (e.g . crew vessels, guard vessels etc.)
- Plan and decide in cooperation with the Site & Commissioning Project Manager on the day-to-day installation process
- Implement Offshore Site Management Manual and keep it and related plans and sequences updated, including organisation, roles and responsibilities, meeting structure, plans and procedures
- Participate in the handover of packages to other maintenance groups and to commissioning
- Handling the handover between project and follow-up contractors
- Manage and maintain all offshore site assets prior to handover to O&M
- Implement “Lessons Learned” and other relevant knowledge sharing processes to ensure implementation of good practice from other projects.
- Contribution to efficient communication and high information level in relation to the offshore installation activities, including“Day-to-day” progress reporting to the Site & Commissioning Project Manager
Your profile
- You have a University degree preferable in Engineering
- You have a minimum of 7-10 years of work experience, thereof 5 years preferable in the offshore or construction industry
- You have broad experience in the planning and construction of wind farms or other complex (infrastructure) projects
- You are very process orientated and have a very structured working approach
- You have excellent leadership, people management and communication skills
- Excellent German and good English languages skills are a must
- You are very mobile and willing to work on construction site and abroad for several months
