Job Summary:

The role of Senior Environmental Consultant/Engineer is required to support our client’s London geo-environmental team. The role will include managing all aspects of contaminated land investigation, assessment, interpretative reporting, remediation and client interface.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages small scale projects/suppliers
• Pro-actively interprets and takes appropriate actions/decisions
• Supervise the day to day activities of others
• Supports the day to day management of projects
• Involved in servicing client relationships

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years post graduate experience in contaminated land investigation and assessment. Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessment modelling and remediation experience an advantage.
• Experience of the investigation, assessment and remediation of gasworks sites an advantage
• Technically competent in contaminated land assessment and interpretation
• Competent in project cost control and analysis
• Any specific/generic site investigation qualifications including First Aid certificate, CSCS, CAT & Genny trained, working from heights, deep excavation etc and other site specific qualifications (eg gasworks, rail) an advantage
• Working towards or attained Chartered status and evidence of continuing professional development
• Client focused –client facing, confident communicator (written and verbal)
• Proven IT skills
