Senior Fleet Engineer for technical support to offshore wind farms

Areas of responsibility
You will be responsible for developing our remote support to sites by establishing a knowledge centre which driven on SCADA data, diagnostics tools, SAP and on-site experience is able to handle fast response to sites and challenge suppliers to ensure world-class operatorship.

In addition, you will be responsible for capturing and systemising know-how and experience to ensure that the sites have consistent repair and troubleshooting methodologies.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

• develop a centralised setup for supporting and monitoring technical performance of our WTG portfolio
• provide global support to wind power plants by providing solutions to technical integrity issues
• establish technical bulletins on the WTGs’ fleet performance, technical details and defect history
• consolidate and assess technical, operational and defect component information received from operating sites
• carry out ad hoc inspections of WTGs, for instance in connection with takeover, design review and QC
• participate in yield-based optimisation of service and maintenance work and troubleshooting.

Your profile
You will hold a higher engineering qualification or have similar skills gained from extensive experience with offshore wind turbines and knowledge of the offshore wind power industry.

You will thrive on taking on complex technical challenges and coming up with professional technical solutions. Furthermore, you will have the ability to establish, maintain and develop effective relationships with a hands-on mentality.
