Senior Executive, Climate Strategy Business Development

Join ICF’s Climate Strategy Practice within Energy & Resources to expand and manage ICF’S work in climate change strategy support for commercial clients in the U.S. and provide coordination of ICF’s latest services and offerings with ICF’s global offices.

The ideal candidate will develop marketing plans and collateral, and design and implement service offerings related to strategic climate needs of commercial clients across all sectors.  The candidate will develop a strong working knowledge of ICF projects related to climate change strategic services and coordinate marketing efforts and cross-collaboration within ICF to strengthen its service offerings and leverage ICF’s expertise.  He/she will be expected to manage projects to ICF’s high standards of client satisfaction, technical quality, and profitability.

The candidate will possess a strong background and reputation in understanding the risks and opportunities that climate change poses to commercial clients, including potential compliance challenges and the competitive advantages a commercial client may realize in a carbon-constrained world.  He/she will have proven business development experience in capturing commercial clients.  Successful candidates will possess strong client relations and staff management skills; and have connections in the climate strategy arena (e.g., corporate players, consultants, and other experts).  Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and organization skills are critical for this position.  Geographic location of this position is open at this time.
