Senior Environmental Strategy Officer £29,601 - £36,306 Ref: 100146
As the Senior Environmental Strategy Officer you will be a core part of the Environmental Strategy Team leading on the delivery of environmental improvements across the organisation and the wider community. You will specialise and lead on air quality monitoring, reviews and reporting and ambient noise related matters across the borough. You will be working with developers, government agencies and staff throughout the council and partner organisations to help deliver environmental improvements.
You must have excellent oral and written communication skills and experience of collecting, analysing and monitoring air quality and noise related data. You will have an understanding of the relevant environmental legislation and be willing to work as part of a team as well as on your own using your own initiative. Full EEA driving licence is required.
