Senior Business Developer for developing offshore wind projects.

Join us and become Senior Business Developer in our department Cost of Energy & Business Development in the team Foundations. As part of our clear mission to make offshore wind competitive with traditional energy sources, we continuously aim to secure profitability in offshore wind projects through cost of energy improvement. The department is part of Wind Power, a large business unit with 1200 employees.

You will be joining one of the leading energy companies in Europe within the fields of developing, constructing and operating onshore and offshore wind farms. We have more than 30 years of experience in wind power, and up to 30 per cent of our electrical power is produced from renewable energy resources. We build and operate large onshore and offshore wind farms in Denmark and abroad. Our business is based on producing, distributing and trading energy and associated products in Northern Europe.

You will be part of dynamic team jointly performing strategic analysis related to business cases, contracts and development of foundation concepts, including market and value chain positioning. You will have a dynamic working environment with both internal and external stakeholders.

You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte. You should, however, expect some travelling in Denmark and Northern Europe in relation to your work.

Areas of responsibility
Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the development of future strategies for cost of energy.

You will develop strategy and drive development of new business projects within the offshore WTG foundation area. You will also provide strategic analysis related to business opportunities, development of concepts and markets and value chain positioning. In addition, you will proactively challenge the business to see new value-creating ways to business.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

• carry out and facilitate innovation activities to create new business opportunities
• handle ad-hoc analysis related to tactical or strategic activities
• prepare presentations to the management and other key stakeholders
• perform oral presentations of complex business relationship
• support and coordinate negotiation and analysis processes.

Your profile
You will hold a Master of Science Degree in Engineering or Economics or similar. You will have extensive work experience with related work, for instance project management in complex environments or problem solving experience from consultancy or business development. It will be an advantage if you have experience from the offshore wind business or the offshore substructure business.

You will have extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint supplemented with good communication skills, and you will be able to convey knowledge to your business partners in a professional way.
