This person will work to develop new relationships with corporates of strategic value to BirdLife; oversee and advise on the management of the respective Programme Managers for the established strategic partnerships with corporate partners; and work with the Secretariat to develop and implement a strategy for wider engagement with the corporate sector, using the Working with Corporates guidance as a key reference.

•            An understanding of the business case and drivers for conservation of biodiversity

•            Ability to communicate and influence effectively
•            Experience of working with the corporate sector, and cross-sector working

A detailed job description can be found at www.birdlife.org/jobs.

This is currently a part time role.  We are seeking someone to work 2.5 days per week for a minimum of 1 year, but are willing to consider alternative working patterns if the right candidate is available.

We are ideally looking to employ someone who will play a fully integrated role within the Conservation team, but might consider applications to carry out the deliverables on a consultancy basis (please make this clear in your application).
